District Meet Information:
The district meet was once again a success for the 2012 Season. The boys 4x200 meter relay team had a season best performance, Clayton Seymour placed sixth in the Discus, Mariah Hicks won the Pole vault tying her season best of 9'6". Dallas Lindeman tied his season best in the 800 meter run with a 2:03, Denise had a career best peformance in the 400 meter dash, Ashley Fortner had a PR in the Shot Put, Zach Butler had a PR in the 1600, Connor Hughes had a PR in the 800, Katie Glover had a career best performance in the 800 meter run, and the following girls broke school records for the second week in a row.

Awards Banquet Information:
The awards banquet is on Monday May 21st at 6:30 pm in the high school cafeteria. Our banquet is traditionally a potluck and we was each family to bring a dish to share.
Physicals for next years sports are held at the High School from 4-7 on Tuesday May 22nd
The Ashville 5k (our annual fundraiser) will be held on Saturday July 21st at 9:00 am. Show up and get a chance against the coaches.

Congratulations to Molly Jordan for breaking the school record in the girls 800 on Friday night.
Congratulations to the Girls 4x800 meter relay team of Katie Glover, Lora Overholt, Karina Overholt, and Molly Jordan for winning the Mid State League and breaking the school record with a time of 9:53.58
Congratulations to the following athletes for acheiving a personal best performance at the MSL Championships last night. Chris Hemming in the 100 and 400, Denise Taylor in the 100 and 400, Abigail Helser in the Shot Put, Ryan Spencer in the Shot Put, Liz Stevens in the 100m dash, and Sienna Titler in the 200m dash.
The MSL Championships continues thursday with the MSL Reserve meet, and Friday with the MSL Varsity Finals. .
